What are Casual and Competitive matches? Is there any difference between Casual and Competitive?
Answer
The difference between Casual and Competitive is the player skill and experience. There are Fast and Standard matches for Competitive but Casual has regular matches and there is no differences between any type of match. Competitive matches allows up to a 6v6 match while Casual matches allows up to 12v12 matches and players are able to call vote on a other player. For Competitive this feature is disabled.
Competitive
What are Competitive matches?
Competitive matches are for skilled and experienced players in a 6v6 game play format. This gamemode is allows fast and standard matches to be played without any weapon restrictions.
What are Standard and Fast game modes?
When Competitive servers reach the maximum capacity of matches, you can join Fast Matches. The fast matches are game modes that end shortly (KoTH) or don't last long.
Casual
What are Casual matches?
Casual matches are for non-experienced or new players. This option is recommended for players that want a quick game of Team Fortress 2 without any modifications to the game or changes to the game.
